Scott D. Meacham

As president and co-founder of CAPACG, LLC. Scott brings a diversified background to the corporation.

Scott has served on several industry committees, including: Partnership to Enhance General Aviation Safety, Accessibility and Sustainability (PEGASAS) Industry Advisory Board, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Industry Training Standards (FITS) Oversight Committee, FAA General Aviation Joint Steering Committee (GAJSC) Personal Aviation Subgroup, FAA GAJSC Technically Advanced Automation Sub-group and AABI Industry/Educator Committee. Additionally, Scott served as Chair of the General Aviation Flight Data Monitoring Steering (GA-FDM) Committee. The GA-FDM Steering Committee researched the viability to draft a large-scale industry/university research project to submit as a grant to the Center for General Aviation Research (CGAR).

Through Scott’s involvement with CAPACG and as a professional aviator and safety practitioner, Scott has garnered experience (past and present) including: Managing the development and deployment of FlyteAnalytics™, industries first Cloud Based Flight Data Monitoring Solution, International Standards for Business Aircraft Operations (ISBAO) Auditor, FAA Approved Check Airman, Line Captain, First Officer, courseware/curriculum developer, advance qualification consultant, program development, Advance Qualification Program (AQP) facilitator, train-the-trainer certification, simulator instructor and aircraft flight instructor. He holds FAA certifications as Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with type certifications in the B737, B767, B757, CL-65, EMB-120, SF340, and the SA-227. Additionally, Scott has flown a variety of general aviation multi and single engine aircraft accruing flight experience in excess of 18000 hours.

Majoring in aerospace technology, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
